Situated just 3km from Utrecht N-KZN, (the only town inside a Game Park). The selfcatering fully furnished farm cottages each provide two spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, including both a shower and bath. The fully equipped kitchen makes for a perfect place to cook and eat family meals and since the entire holding is run on solar power and gas there is no need to worry about a power failure.
Cesarea is a working farm and one of the few places where you can wake with the sights and sounds of farm life. There is no need to worry about running into too many guests since there are only three cottages on the entire farm. Our unique farm stay gives you the opportunity to enjoy the quiet rustic life in privacy and convenience.
The working farm is home to an assortment of animals such as njala, koedoe and an abundant birdlife. Depending on the time of year, most of the animals range freely around the property.
When not soaking in the beauty of the landscape, guests can sign up for the Battlefield excursions, Waterfall Breakfast tours, fruit picking, jam making and other farm-related educational experiences or take a hike in the veld and surrounding hills.
The built-in braai area on the veranda offers a relaxing atmosphere while the farm dam provides a place for the family to cool off during hot summer days and the fire place is the perfect spot to snuggle up to on those cold winter nights.
There are many activities for the whole family to enjoy on Cesarea . Come enjoy the big farm dam, hiking trails, picnic spots, mountain climbing, bicycle trails, bird-watching, stargazing around the campfire, or, for the kids, the dollhouse, and jungle gym.
We also have 4 private campsites, with a rustic but comfortable Bathroom and kitchen. The Lapa is there for all our guests, but a private function can be arranged.
